This was an informative read, well written, but didn't complete the whole story, it stopped after Wallis married Ernest Simpson, I had to buy another book to get the rest of the story, which was disappointing.
I feel this book should have given the whole account of Wallis's life, after all this is what the title is giving the impression of doing.
I enjoyed this book but the discription was a bit much of the wedding night antics of a one widfred spencer and his treatment of Wallis which by the way may never have happened his ancestors have to live with this vile description of his wedding night and how he acted in print. It is based on thin vailed gossip and spectulation of how he acted on later occaisons.
Loved this book. Really loved The Golden Prince too so was a nice follow on. Excellent historical based novel. Easy to read - I couldn't put it down.
A good read, I would recommend it to others
